.: Enhancements

Now, the photo on the right is a bit more than what I want.  I intend to keep the car looking mostly stock, but adding the PCs will serve an important purpose, in that I'll be able to provide real-time data on the car's performance in the real world.  This will come in handy at proving to people that the car does what I claim it can do.  It can also be used to display information about the car and it's systems when the car is being shown at car shows and other events.  There are other features, besides the computer I intend to add as well.  A generator, better seatbelts, improved interior lighting, and an environmentally friendly air conditioner are just some of the other features I want to add.  I'll post a complete list and more details soon.

One of the safety features I want to add is this gas pedal idea, which dates from the 1950s.  It flashes the brake lights when you take your foot off the gas. Another idea I have is for the brake lights to glow brighter the harder you press on the brake pedal. The idea is from a number of years ago, but is being re-examined in a slightly different form. Also, since a steam engine is "free reversing" (i.e. you can throw the engine into reverse), I intend to have the engine reverse itself when you apply the brakes. This should greatly reduce the stopping distance, as well as save wear and tear on the brakes.

.: thank you!

Thank you for paying attention this far. The site's always under construction, so check back often for updates (click "Latest News" to read my blog). I apologize if it seems like nothing ever changes, but I am not a web designer, and unless I can get someone to volunteer to take over handling the website, its going to take me a while to make big changes to this site.
